The pensioner paints a pedestrian walkway so she can walk for bread
A pensioner from the village of Klonovo near Moscow took a self-initiative and took traffic regulation on their own. 70-year-old Andrey Korotkov painted a pedestrian walkway on a highway near his home with white paint, Monitor reports.
The third-year-old man approached his task responsibly: first drawing stop lines in the two strips, then using the scotch to mark the outlines of the zebra. Korotkov even complied with the standard line sizes specified in the regulations.
However, the pensioner was not able to finish his case as he was stopped by the police who arrived on the spot. The spectacle surprised the uniforms so much that they did not restrain themselves and turned on the cameras on their mobile phones to capture what was happening. Asked what he was doing, the 70-year-old man replied that he was drawing a "zebra" to go to the other store where the cheapest bread was in the area.
The absurdity of the situation, however, did not pardon the police and they took the man to the nearby administration. They blamed the "artist" for his act and fined him 3,000 rubles or about 40 euros. His case, however, went unnoticed - after traffic inspectors saw the video on the internet, they decided to put a legal pedestrian walkway on the site.
